Bio Poem
Xavier
Happy, angry, silly, playful
Son of Flower and Darren,
Brother of Lucian, Tiaan, Amaya and Ezra
Lover of toys, sports and playstation
Who feels sad, lazy and angry
Who needs more toys, more balls and more sweets
Who give clothes ,toys and smiles
Who fears poison spiders, spiders and wetas
Who would like toys, playstation and TV
Who comes from New Zealand
Who lives in Ngaruawahia

Shrove Tuesday
Today is Shrove Tuesday. This morning, we burnt last year's Palm Sunday palms to ash, so Father Keane can use them on Ash Wednesday when he makes the Sign of the Cross on our forehead and reminds us to follow Jesus.
After swimming, Olivina came over to talk about Tonga. Tonga is a very poor country. The people in Tonga raise pigs to eat or sell. They sell pigs for money to buy food and school uniforms and to pay school fees.

Waitangi Day
Waitangi Day is the day NZ became a nation known as New Zealand. It is a day all New Zealanders have a holiday. New Zealanders celebrate when the Treaty of Waitangi was signed. It was signed by 500 Maori Chiefs and representatives of the Queen in 1840, February the 6th.
On Waitangi Day, this year, I played on my Play Station. I played some of my games. When I finished my game, I went to my bedroom to play with my toys. I played with my army men.
A little while after I played with my toys, I went to ask Tiaan if I could play on his Xbox360.
I played some of his games on his Xbox 360 then my dad came over for dinner.
After my dad was here, I wanted to watch TV. I watched a few shows on my TV.
After that, we watched more shows.
After I watched TV, I went on the computer. I played heaps of games on the computer.
